VENUE'S

These are a list of venue's that we have worked with with their websites and their criteria.

Mulberry House - High Ongar,This is a lovely venue which has it's own in house caterer, is now offering marquees where you can hire your own caterer   http://www.mulberry-house.com

  • Warley Cricket Club - Brentwood - has the grounds to hold a marquee, you can bring your own caterers, but you need to hire a cooker and chafer pans as it is a very basic kitchen. You will also need to hire toilets
  • Baddow Park - Chelmsford has the grounds to hold large marquee, you have the use of one room to get changed and the conservatory. They do have a resident caterer, but will allow outside caterers.
  • Labour Hall - Witham- is suitable for a cold wedding sit down and buffet. Ovens will be required for hot sit down. They don't charge corkage on wine and have a pay bar that is staffed by them for your evening.  Hall doesn't look much from the outside but once decorated is lovely, and is close to railway station.   • Pitsea Leisure Centre - Northlands Pavement, Pitsea, SS13 3DU, Contact Phone: 01268 559470. There is no kitchen facility at all at the leisure centre, so it would be cold food only. We catered here for Sharon's wedding, there is no kitchen facility so we can only do cold sit down buffet food here.

    • The Shire Hall - Chelmsford - Shire Hall Tindal Square Chelmsford CM1 1EH- This is the Magistrates court in the centre of Chelmsford Town Centre. It is a fantastic venue and has excellent kitchen facilities for a hot or cold sit down meal. It has a bar area that your guests can be served your drinks from which our bar staff can do. They do not charge corkage. You can also get married at this venue. We are doing 2 weddings here so far this year. http://www.theshirehall.co.uk

    The Reid Rooms - Chelmsford - Marks Hall Lane, Margaret Roding, Essex, CM6 1QT - This is a fantastic venue, you can use our own caterers, and they don't charge corkage either. They don't have adequate fridges, so it may be necessary to hire a unit. http://www.thereidrooms.co.uk


    Maldon Town Football Club-  Maldon - Park Drive, Maldon, Essex, CM9 5JQ - This is a lovely venue for receptions or parties. It has a good kitchen for us to use to do a hot sit down menu or buffet, aternatively a cold menu. We are doing a wedding reception here in April. http://www.madisonmaldon.com

    The Fennes - Braintree- Bocking, Braintree, Essex CM7 5PL- 01376 324555. - They have their own resident caterer but we have done a chocolate fountain here in December 2009 and is a lovely place. http://www.fennes.co.uk

    Hunters Meet- Stansted- Chelmsford Road, Hatfield Heath, Bishop's Stortford, CM22 7BQ. They have their own in house caterers, but the venue is a lovely one and the owners are really nice people. http://www.huntersmeet.co.uk

    Avenue Halls - Kew Gardens - is a converted church in just outside the Kew Gardens.
